HCF BLACK STUDENT BURSARY
(Financial Award - Subject to Funding)
HCF Black Student Bursary is a community outreach initiative and financial award under the Youth Pathways Program to support high achieving Black Student-Athletes in Ontario experiencing financial hardship or from a low-income household.

This award will be given per semester/annually to two male and two female students under the following two categories:

Identifies as an International student from the Black Community: full time student with a 3.6gpa or an 80% average. Student must submits a one pager to explain why he or she qualifies, and in need of financial assistance.

Identifies as a local student from the Black Community: maintains a minimum of an overall 3.6 gpa or an 80% average. Student must submits a one pager to explain why he or she qualifies, and in need of financial assistance.

$1000 per semester given out to 10 local and international students in Ontario

Students must maintain above 80% average

Student must be experiencing financial hardships or from a low-income households

Providing fnancial assistance will provide high achieving student-athletes with an opportunity to invest more time in their academics and athletics.

The financial support will contribute to their well-being by providing the recipients with an opportunity to alleviate personal expenses

Recipients of these financial awards must be an active student with proof of completed high-school transcripts including a minimum of two references or a letter of support.
