HCF STUDENT-ATHLETE BURSARY
(Financial Award - Subject to Funding)


HCF Student-Athlete Bursary is a community outreach initiative and financial award under the Youth Pathways Program to support high achieving Student-Athletes in Canada experiencing financial hardship or from a low-income household.

This award will be given per semester/annually to 5 male and 5 female students under the following two categories:

Identifies as an International student from an underserved community or low-income family (Refer to StatCan on Low Income cut-offs) and a full time student with an 80% average.

The student must submits a one pager to explain why he or she qualifies, and is in need of financial assistance.

Identifies as a local student from an underserved community or low-income family (Refer to StatCan on Low Income cut-offs) and maintains an 80% average.

Financial Award:
-
$1000 per semester given out to 10 student-atheltes in Canada

Students must maintain above 80% average
-
Student must be experiencing financial hardships or from a low-income households

Providing fnancial assistance will provide high achieving student-athletes with an opportunity to invest more time in their academics and athletics.

The financial support will contribute to their well-being by providing the recipients with an opportunity to alleviate personal expenses

Recipients of these financial awards must be an active student-athlete with proof of enrollment into an acreditted Canadian Institution (College/University) including a minimum of two references or a letter of support.
